Overview:

Students majored in Economics were enrolled from Autumn, 2011. There are 401 students at school and 17 part-time and full-time teachers working for the major. Among them there are 6 teachers with high professional titles and 10 intermediate professional titles. 16 teachers get their own master’s degree. Within the past 5 years teachers published 27 professional papers, 5 monographs and textbooks, achieved 6 provincial research tasks, and won 4 scientific research prizes. The major of Economics owns one provincial demonstration center of experimental teaching and 3 school-enterprise cooperation bases. With high postgraduates enrollment rate and employment rate, undergraduates majored in Economics will work in the fields of securities, financial investment and services.

Objective:

1. Students are supposed to use the econometrics and statistical tools and be qualified for the job of economic analysis.

2. Students should work on the job for finance and securities investment with the professional knowledge of securities and investment industry.

3. Students should be adept at customer communication to conduct the work to maintain the customer relationship of finance industry.
